I couldn't pass up illustrating my point by including this comment from a reader of the article:
Whether he was accurate or not, the diversifying of energy dependency is an extremely vital issue. If handled correctly it could avoid world wars, as it currently stands it won't be a pretty picture for our descendants.
How do you make rational judgement on incorrect predictions? The thought would never pass this persons thought process. More proof to people like this global warming, oil is the enemy are tenets of a religion.
