Obama is not serious about dealing with the debt problem

Yesterday I heard it reported that Obama wants to use the proceeds from eliminating the oil depletion allowance tax credit to fund alternative energy projects. Why not use it to pay down our debts? Next time you hear him spout on about his desire to cut government spending remember this.
