The bigger the government the more corruption

AP NewsBreak: Homeland Security official probed

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Department of Homeland Security's internal watchdog is investigating President Barack Obama's pick to become to the department's No. 2 official for his role in helping a company secure an international investor visa for a Chinese executive.
The Associated Press has learned that the DHS Inspector General's Office has identified U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Alejandro Mayorkas as a target in an ongoing investigation of the agency's foreign investor visa program.
Mayorkas is nominated to be the department's deputy secretary and if approved by the Senate would likely lead the sprawling department on an interim basis until a permanent replacement for outgoing Secretary Janet Napolitano is selected.
The White House had no immediate comment on the investigation. The department and USCIS did not immediately respond to inquiries.
