A teen opened fire on a crowded Brooklyn bus Thursday evening, fatally striking a man in the back of the head, law-enforcement sources said.
The mayhem began when a group of girls ran up to the B15 about 6:20 p.m. in Clinton Hill at the bus stop on Lafayette Avenue, near Marcus Garvey Boulevard, sources said.
The girls shouted “he’s on the bus!” to the shooter.
A 14-year-old teen then got onto the B15 and opened fire, hitting a 39-year-old rider in the head, sources said.
The teen ran off, while the girls laughed, according to witnesses.
EMS rushed the man to Woodhull Hospital, where he died, authorities said.
The cops collared the teen with a gun at the nearby Community Laundry Center, and took him into custody. He has not yet been charged.
“The gun sounded like a cannon. Where does a 14-year-old get firepower like that?” said Henry Joseph, 41. “The neighborhood is going to the dogs.”
