Watch Prominent Pastor Blast White America in Fiery Times Square Message: ‘White Nation Needs To…’
A prominent New York City pastor condemned white America along with the three monotheistic faiths in a fiery message at a protest against police violence in Times Square on Thursday.
“The one thing that must happen in this country for this to change is the white nation needs to become a nation or remorse, falling on its knees in sackcloth and in ashes not doing this tourist thing in Times Square day in an day out,” said Rev. Stephen H. Phelps, who was formerly a senior minister at Riverside Church in New York City.
“It is on that tragic error, for which Christianity and Judaism and Islam offer no quarter, on that tragic error of thinking we are good, they are bad, that the whole evil of police brutality and police killing stands,” he continued.
Phelps later told TheBlaze that all white men should feel remorse for the evil actions of some police, because all white men benefit immensely from those actions.
Phelp’s message was part of three-days of #RiseUpOctober protests against police brutality planned for New York City this week.
