See the Stunning Moment Dallas Sheriff’s Moment of Silence for Fallen Officers Is Interrupted at DNC

Protesters at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia Thursday interrupted a moment of silence for fallen police officers. 

While Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez attempted to lead the arena in a time of reflection on the lives of slain police officers — including those in her own city — some in the arena began to shout “Black Lives Matter!”

Earlier this week, the DNC featured the “Mothers of the Movement” — nine black women who lost their unarmed children in officer-involved shootings or due to gun violence.
