MSNBC host Chris Matthews terrified of Trump radicals
Chris Matthews was scared out of his mind to face Donald Trump supporters when he landed in Cleveland for the Republican National Convention earlier this week.
The notoriously tough-talking MSNBC host, who often espouses liberal views, was so shaken up by Trump’s radical base that he demanded to be moved away from them.
“On Day 1 of the convention, he was worried that some crazy Trump supporter would grab him. He was screaming, ‘There’s not enough security!’ and yelling at his boss,” an insider told us. “He was worried about being on the floor of the convention and demanded to be put up in a booth away from the crowd.”
An MSNBC rep said, “In the words of Chris Christie, ‘Not guilty.’ The crowds in Cleveland have been welcoming and no one loves a raucous convention more than Chris.”
