How do you satirize Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham had some advice for her more than 5.5 million Twitter followers on Tuesday, warning them to “never trust anyone who doesn’t regularly french kiss animals.”
The tweet – which you can view here — was swiftly deleted, as was a follow-up in which she attempted to clarify her position.
“TO BE CLEAR this is about letting rescue pets kiss your mouth,” she said in the subsequent short-lived tweet.  “Oh jeez is it only Tuesday?”
Still, her attempts to erase the record were not quick enough for eagle-eyed Twitter users who managed to snap screenshots for posterity.

The feminist author and former “Girls” star’s very affectionate feelings toward pets contrasts sharply with her own past experience. In 2017, the star gave up her rescue dog, Lamby, after four years, claiming that the animal had experienced too much trauma to be properly cared for.
“After four years of challenging behavior and aggression that could not be treated with training or medication or consistent loving dog ownership, Lamby went to live at an amazing professional facility in Los Angeles,” she told fans on Instagram last June.
“Lamby suffered terrible abuse as a pup that made having him in a typical home environment dangerous to him and others”
That earned a rebuke from the animal shelter in Brooklyn which supplied the pup, which publicly disputed her account.
Separate from animals, it’s far from the first time Dunham has raised eyebrows over her statements and public admissions. In her 2014 memoir, Not That Kind of Girl, she described herself as a “sexual predator” while explaining her relationship with her younger sister.
