Ethically challenged

Trio of former US spies admit to providing high-tech hacking technology to United Arab Emirates after they left the government and agree to pay $1.7 million in penalties to avoid charges

  • The three former US intel and military officials made the admission as part of a non-prosecution agreement
  •  Marc Baier, Ryan Adams and Daniel Gericke were accused of hacking on behalf of the UAE government against its adversaries
  • One former NSA employee who worked with the trio said the outfit ended up 'targeting US persons'
  • They must cooperate with DOJ probe and sever ties to UAE
