Woman attacked TSA agents after they took her apple juice at Phoenix airport: report

“Unfortunately, this situation not only resulted in three of our TSA officers being injured but inconvenienced approximately 450 travelers who had to be redirected to a nearby checkpoint for security screening due to the actions of this traveler,” a TSA spokesperson said in a statement. 

Makiah Coleman, 19, grew irate and allegedly bit and hit the agents when they removed her juice at a security checkpoint shortly before 6 a.m.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office

Coleman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage and disorderly conduct. 

The two agents hospitalized were released after treatment.April 27, 2023 2:17am
