Does anyone remember how W was pilloried for calling out Iran as a part of the Axis of Evil. All we needed was a President who would "understand" Iran and they would join the kumbaya crowd.
How's it working out?
Now of course the whole assassination plot might be a confection dreamed up at the WH with Saudi assistance in order to distract us from the Holder affair -- Fast and Furious or Solyndra scandal or the economy.
