REVEALED: Harvard cleared Claudine Gay of plagiarism WITHOUT proper investigation - as furious colleagues blast Ivy League school's 'irregular' and 'opaque' probe into under-siege president

  • Harvard was asked on October 24 about allegations of plagiarism by the university president, Claudine Gay
  • A lawyer for the university, Tom Clare, said the 27 possible examples of plagiarism were 'demonstrably false'
  • It now emerges that an inquiry into plagiarism was not launched until November 2: academics at Harvard have said they disapprove with the university's actions
