Legislator disputes $7.5 million cleanup claim for Capitol
Madison - State Rep. Brett Hulsey (D-Madison) scoffed at suggestions Thursday by government officials that the cleanup costs of the marble at the state Capitol would reach $7.5 million.
"That's a lot of bottles of Formula 409," Hulsey said.
During testimony in Dane County court, Cari Anne Renlund, the chief legal council for the state Department of Administration, estimated cleanup costs of $6 million to repair damaged marble inside the Capitol, $1 million for damage outside and $500,000 for costs to supervise the work.
The Capitol has been the scene of near continuous protests for more than two weeks, with officials saying much of the damage was attributed to the use of blue tape to place placards, posters and papers on the walls.
You see for this Democrat enabler the can be no objection to the way unions or Democrats behave. What if it's only $1 million? Does that excuse the damage? He's not worried the taxpaying fools will foot the bill and be quiet about it.

Of course, the reason it costs $7.5 million is that the janitorial staff is, no doubt, unionized.
