Old Rights and New Rights

Noel at Cold Fury posts a handy conversion guide from 'old rights' to 'new rights':



Old rights: something you and I both have.
New “Rights”: something you have that I want. And can get government to take from you and give to me.

Our elites keep trying to get us to trade our ancient rights for these shiny new rights, such as this:

Old rights: Freedom of Speech
