Obama sure has a way of finding crooks to help his administration out.

Fresh subpoena in Steve Rattner case

New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has issued a fresh subpoena requesting records from Steven Rattner's former hedge fund, Quadrangle Group.

The attorney general is asking Rattner's firm to hand over information related to the Quadrangle founder's pay and any money he received when he departed, sources tell The Post.

The request is part of an ongoing probe by Cuomo into Rattner's role in offering pension managers, including former New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi, kickbacks in exchange for investing in Quandrangle's funds.

News of a new subpoena comes after Rattner rejected a $20 million settlement last month.

The new information is likely to factor into how much money will be disgorged from the former car czar, sources say.

A spokesman at Cuomo's office declined to comment.

Steve Rattner and the terrible, horrible, very good day [Update]

Even the LA Times has a hard time putting lipstick on this pig. Another crooked Obamaite. He also is the manager of Mayor Blooomberg's finances. Let' not forget Goldman Sachs the Democrats favorites financial friend. Do you wonder why these folks tend to be Democrats? Could it be they see the opportunity of government-finance industry fascism.
