Why not? She's a part of the administration not an objective journalist

WH lets Huffington cut

Arianna Huffington is a busy lady. So busy that White House staffers let her cut to the front of the line to have her photo taken with the president and first lady at Tuesday night’s White House holiday party for journalists, Natasha Lennardreports over at Click.

A few partygoers at Tuesday evening’s White House holiday reception for the press were less than impressed with Arianna Huffington. Sources who were in attendance told POLITICO that the HuffPo co-founder and editor-in-chief cut in line to have her photograph taken with the president and the first lady, much to the irritation of waiting guests.
Huffington offered an explanation to POLITICO via e-mail on Wednesday afternoon: “I was scheduled to speak at the TEDWomen conference in DC, just after 9. When I mentioned this to the White House staff they were kind enough to make it possible to do both: say hello to the president and the first lady, and dash to the International Trade Center — which was mercifully close. So I did make it in time,” she said.
