Another Obama lie exposed by of all people Bill Ayers

Obama and Ayers: It's Too Late

Warren Beatty
As Carol King sang in her 1971 song, "It's Too Late" for action on this information.  The song's lyrics (written by Toni Stern) are also very prophetic: "There's something wrong here, there can be no denying."

It seems that well-known self-admitted terrorist and "visiting scholar" Bill Ayers has confirming what the White House has previously denied -- that he held a fundraiser in his living room in 1995 for Dear Leader Barack Hussein Obama.  MSNBC host Chris Matthews, in 2008, asked Robert Gibbs, a spokesman for Obama's presidential campaign: "Did [Ayers] have a fundraiser for [Obama], or not?"  Gibbs responded: "No, he did not have a fundraiser for our candidate as he [Ayers] said ten seconds ago."

But (and there's always a "but" when Obama is involved), in an interview in April 2013 with the Daily Beast, Ayers said (emphasis mine):

We were friendly, that was true; we served on a couple of boards together, that was true; he held a fundraiser in our living room, that was true; Michelle [Obama] and Bernardine [Dohrn] were at the law firm together, that was true. Hyde Park in Chicago is a tiny neighborhood, so when he said I was 'a guy around the neighborhood,' that was true.  Today, I wish I knew him better and he was listening to me.  Obama's not a radical.  I wish he were, but he's not.

So, according to Ayers, Obama is not a radical.  Whether Obama is or is not a radical is not the question being asked.  Rather, does the Ayers interview explain the Ayers' living-room fundraiser for Obama that Gibbs flatly denied?  We now learn from Ayers himself that Obama lied about the fundraiser, that Obama did indeed launch his political career from the living room of Ayers, a man wanted for questioning in the death of a San Francisco police officer.

Another source, Maria Warren, a Chicago-based blogger, was also present at the fundraiser.  She remembered watching Obama give a "standard, innocuous little talk" in the Ayers's home.  Warren also said that "[t]hey [New Party] were launching him [Obama], introducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread."  Also at that fundraiser was Alice Palmer, a New Party member, who announced that she wanted Obama as her successor as state senator.

And in 2011, Ayers said, "We did a little fundraiser for the campaign in our house, and we reminded him [Bob Peterson] that Barack Obama did a little fundraiser in our house too."

Why, you ask, should we believe anything Ayers says?  Good question.  But when Ayers's recollections are verified by himself and other sources, one tends to believe Ayers.
Now we have yet another confirmation of what we have known: Obama is, indeed, a liar who keeps company with terrorists!  But "It's Too Late" now to do anything about the situation.  Where was the MSM when it wasn't too late?
