A Democrat thug trying to be just that

Jackson Lee Shut Down at Committee Hearing

Representative Sheila Jackson Lee (D., Texas) continually interrupted ranking member Darrell Issa (R., Calif.) during a Judiciary Committee hearing today by claiming that she was lodging parliamentary objections. Committee chairman Bob Goodlatte continually reminded her that her comments didn’t qualify as legitimate interruptions to Issa’s time, and she eventually relented.
Jackson Lee was interrupting Issa’s questions of Attorney General Eric Holder to ask about the legitimacy and accuracy of a voicemail that had just been played of Tom Perez, a Justice Department official and now President Obama’s nomination for labor secretary. Chairman Goodlatte finally ruled that “the gentlewoman’s point of order is not well taken, because there is no such rule that would require the committee to treat this like we were in a trial.”
