Here you have in one instance the distillation of the left's view of civility and arrogance

BASHIR NOT PUNISHED FOR SAYING SOMEONE SHOULD 'SH*T' IN PALIN'S MOUTH

After suspending Alec Baldwin's show for anti-gay comments he made off the air, MSNBC has not taken any action against host Martin Bashir for his vile comments made on air on Nov. 15 in which he suggested that someone should defecate and urinate in former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's mouth.

As Breitbart News reported, Bashir said Palin deserved a punishment known as "Darby's dose" because she compared the federal debt to slavery by using slavery in a general--and not a racial--sense:
He gave an example in Thomas Thistlewood, an overseer of slaves at a major plantation in Jamaica in the 1700s. Bashir said that in his diary, Thistlewood wrote, “A slave named Darby catched eating canes; had him well flogged and pickled, then made Hector, another slave, s-h-i-t in his mouth.”
Bashir said this became known as "Darby’s dose, a punishment invented by Thistlewood that spoke only of the slave owner's savagery and inhumanity."
"And he mentions a similar incident again in 1756, this time in relation to a man he refers to as Punch," Bashir continued. "'Flogged Punch well, and then washed and rubbed salt pickle, lime juice and bird pepper; made Negro Joe piss in his eyes and mouth.' I could go on, but you get the point."
In concluding his segment, Bashir said when Palin "invoked slavery, she doesn’t just prove her rank ignorance. She confirms that if anyone truly qualified for a dose of discipline from Thomas Thistlewood, then she would be the outstanding candidate [emphasis added]."
Bashir's rant was prompted after Palin said last Saturday that if the country continues to borrow money, "It's going to be like slavery when that note is due."
"We're going to be beholden to a foreign master... because there is no plan coming out of Washington, D.C. to stop the incurrence of debt, is there?" she said. According to Merriam-Webster's dictionary, one of the definitions of "slavery" is "submission to a dominating influence," which is something Bashir would know because he also made a slavery comparison in 2011. In addition,  Occupy Wall Street protesters have likened the debt to slavery.
After Baldwin called a photographer a "c**ksucking f*g" last week in a meltdown on the streets of New York, MSNBC suspended Up Late With Alec Baldwin for two weeks last Friday. On Sunday, Baldwin tweeted that his show "may not come back."
Left-wing organizations and individuals gave Baldwin a pass after his rant. For instance, Dan Savage, who targets any conservative he deems to be a bigot, tweeted Breitbart News Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro and said though Baldwin was a "homophobic bigot," he gets a pass because he supports same-sex marriage.
Likewise, left-wing groups like the National Organization for Women (NOW) that are eager to gin up the "war on women" rhetoric that President Barack Obama employed throughout the 2012 campaign with ruthless efficiency, have been silent to date because Palin is a conservative. Talk radio host Mark Levin called them out on Friday, blasting women's organizations for not defending Palin because she was not a left-wing politician.
On Sunday, Truth Revolt started a petition against Bashir and MSNBC.

Most women will tell you that other than the N-word, the C-word is the most vile in the English language never to be used.
Cher apparently doesn't hold such a belief, for she disturbingly took to Twitter Friday to call former Alaska governor Sarah Palin a "Dumb C Word":
Go to dictionary,& look up The “C"Word,....next 2 the definition...you’ll see a Pic of Sarah PALIN ! NO...WAIT ...SHES UNDER DUMB C WORD👻
Three minutes later she put an exclamation point on it:

Am here ready to get foot fixed ! If I die ..... DOUBLE MY LAST TWT👻 & Throw in the T -JIHADISTS LOVIN MY CREW

Looking at her timeline, I can find nothing that provoked or precipitated this attack.
I guess Cher just woke up Friday thinking she needed to grotesquely attack - without any reason apparently - a former vice presidential candidate in front of her almost 2 million followers.
Alas, this wasn't the first time the singer has publicly defamed Palin.
In 2010, she told Vanity Fair, “I got so obsessed with [C-SPAN] that it was kind of interfering with my life. Sarah Palin came on, and I thought, Oh, f---, this is the end. Because a dumb woman is a dumb woman.”
Now, three years later, she's added the C-word.
I wish someone would explain to me what Palin has done to turn women so many women into hateful, foul-mouthed morons.
