Illegal immigration has many criminals. Is this rapid rise in crime a result of Obama flooding the zone?

Three arrested at gunpoint in Rohnert Park in stolen car

Sonoma County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday arrested at gunpoint three people stopped in Rohnert Park in a stolen car, according to a sheriff’s official.
The vehicle was the third stolen car deputies had found since Saturday that was parked at the same adjoining Rohnert Park motel and gas station, sheriff’s Sgt. Dave Pedersen said.
Rohnert Park police in the past few days also found a stolen car parked in the same neighborhood, a Rohnert Park police official said Wednesday.
Car theft in Sonoma County has jumped substantially so far in 2015 over 2014, with 510 auto thefts compared to 335 reports during the same time period in 2014.
On Saturday, deputies found a stolen PT Cruiser parked at the Good Nite Inn and on Sunday they found a Honda Civic there, Pedersen said. The motel and an adjoining gas station are at Redwood and Golf Course drives in northwest Rohnert Park.
Because of the spot’s weekend activity in stolen cars, a deputy Wednesday went to the area to check license plates. He discovered a 2012 Audi a6 parked in the gas station parking lot had been stolen recently in Walnut Creek.
More deputies arrived to watch the car and when three people got into it at 10:30 a.m. and began driving away, they were pulled over and detained at gunpoint.
The driver carried no identification and told deputies he was Felipe Veran, 39, of Walnut Creek. He was arrested on suspicion of two felonies, possession of a stolen car and possession of stolen property, a checkbook believed to have been stolen in Walnut Creek, Pedersen said.
Another man in the car who also didn’t carry identification was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property and carrying a fake California license. He told deputies his name was Brian Johnsen, 37, of Benicia.
Sonoma County Jail officers were verifying the names of the men before booking them.
A 34-year-old Santa Rosa woman riding in the car was wanted on three misdemeanor warrants and was carrying illegal drugs, Pedersen said. She was arrested on suspicion of drug possession and the warrants and booked with bail set at $105,000.
