A woman police believe was pregnant was among five people killed and 13 wounded in Chicago shootings Friday into Saturday morning.
The woman was one of four victims slain in a rifle attack in the Brighton Park neighborhood Friday night, police said.
The quadruple homicide happened about 8:40 p.m. in the 4700 block of South Fairfield Avenue, police said.
Three men and a woman were inside a vehicle when someone inside a white SUV opened fire on them with a rifle, police said.
Responding police officers found their bodies inside the vehicle and they were pronounced dead on the scene.
The medical examiner's office on Saturday identified the deceased as Joel Sandoval, 24; Miguel Sandoval, 27; Michelle Cano, 21; and Ida Arvizu, 28.
All four, of unknown addresses, died of multiple gunshot wounds and their deaths were ruled homicides, according to the medical examiner's office.
Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the woman was believed to be pregnant, but police won't know for sure until the autopsy.
Another fatal shooting Friday happened about 11:15 a.m. on the Southwest Side in the 6400 block of South Talman Avenue in the Marquette Park neighborhood, police said.
The man, Micah Brown, 23, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the medical examiner's office. An autopsy Saturday determined Brown, of the 7600 block of South May Street, died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, the office said.
In nonfatal shootings:
• About 5 a.m. Saturday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side, a 28-year-old man was walking in the 11500 block of South Perry Avenue when he heard shots and was hit in the shoulder. He was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
• Shortly before 2:55 a.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in the back while walking in the 2200 block of West 19th Street in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood. He was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
• Shortly before 2:30 a.m., a 27-year-old man was shot in the 500 block of North Kedzie Avenue in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. Police said two groups were arguing when a man pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the chest. A foot chase ensued when the gunman fled the scene. He was caught and is in custody. The victim was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
• About 12:30 a.m., two men, 57 and 31, were shot in the 2300 block of Blue Island Avenue in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood. The men were outside when they witnessed an exchange of gunfire between two vehicles and were struck by bullets. The eldest man suffered wounds to the arm and leg, and the other man was shot in the arm. Both went to Stroger Hospital where their conditions were stabilized, police said.
• About 11:45 p.m., a 28-year-old man was walking in the 8800 block of South Throop Street in the Gresham neighborhood when he heard shots and was hit in the lower right leg. He was taken to MetroSouth Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
• About 11:40 p.m., a 33-year-old man was sitting in his Lawndale neighborhood home in the 2900 block of West Roosevelt Road when gunfire outside came through a window and struck the man in the chest. He was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
• About 4:55 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in the 4400 block of West Washington Boulevard, police said. He was outside near a residence when an assailant on foot approached and fired shots, hitting him in the abdomen. His family took him to Stroger Hospital, where his condition had stabilized.
• Around 4:30 p.m. on the Far North Side in the Rogers Park neighborhood, a 29-year-old man was shot in the 7400 block of North Rogers Avenue, police said. He was wounded in the legs and arms, and was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where his condition was stabilized.
• About 3:40 p.m., two men were shot on the West Side in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, according to a Chicago Fire Department spokesman. The men, 22 and 23, were taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition after the shooting in the 400 block of North Harding Avenue.
• About 1:50 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in the South Austin neighborhood in the 4900 block of West Kinzie Street, police said.
He was shot in both his legs and abdomen, and was taken in serious condition to Stroger, police said.

• A 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg Friday morning while walking in an alley in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side, according to police. The boy told police he was in the 1200 block of South Millard Avenue when a gunman approached and opened fire around 9:25 a.m., police said. He was taken in good condition to Stroger.
