WATCH: Band of intensely white anti-ICE protesters block highway in NYC, get arrested

Somewhere an Old Navy is missing half its staff.

Several people were arrested in New York on Saturday as the result of protest against the U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement agency that blocked off part of the West Side Highway in Manhattan.
The demonstrators, some holding signs that read "close the camps", linked arms across the roadway, chanting and singing and preventing through traffic.
Photographer and "activist" Gili Getz shared video of the road-blockers on Twitter, panning down the almost impossibly white chain of hippies, hipsters, and millennials, sporting "message" t-shirts, designer jeans, and more sandals than a village meeting on the Sea of Galilee circa Sermon the Mount.

Breaking !!! Arrests begin as activists blocking the west side highway.

Demanding an end to ICE’s terrorizing of immigrant communities and to all detention and separation of families at the border.

Police were there in numbers and repeatedly advised them to move, and they did not.

Happening NOW!!! @CosechaMovemen and allies blocking the west side highway.

In this video uploaded to YouTube, about 30 minutes of the protest are captured, including multiple arrests.
Although the commute was interrupted, the #ShutDownICE protest did not, in fact, shut down the nearby ICE field office.

On the other hand, if you're in the market for an all-privileged 'A Chorus Line' cast... you may be in luck.
