Palestinian Acreal Calls Hakeem Jeffries a ‘Monkey’ As NYT Writer Wajahat Ali Nods Along
He is a bought and paid by AIPAC monkey. With all due respect – and I don’t mean it in a racist way. He is just basically an errand boy, and we’re done and tired.”

It’s no secret that Democrats are in full disarray headed into the 2026 midterms over the rise of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and the string of House primary victories their card-carrying candidates have had in states like New York and Colorado.
And in their biggest win to date in this election cycle, in a statewide race, DSA-backed Abdul El-Sayed won the Michigan Democratic Senate nomination. El-Sayed claims he’s not a Democratic Socialist, but his policies – like Medicare for All and defunding the police – fall right in line with the DSA.
Within the warring factions is a subset of voters crucial to Democratic electoral victories: black voters. And the underlying data from the Democratic House primaries in New York and the Michigan Democratic Senate primary made clear that black Democratic voters were not particularly enthusiastic about the DSA candidates who were pretending to be their saviors.
The result has been that candidates like El-Sayed have had to try to shore up the black vote at a time when candidates are typically spending time and resources appealing to a broader cross-section of voters.
Needless to say, when you’re a Democrat who has trouble connecting with key voting blocs, the last thing you want to have happen is to have your prominent supporters make it worse.
But that is exactly what happened during a recent podcast that featured New York Times writer and El-Sayed supporter Wajahat Ali alongside Palestinian activist/journalist Rula Jebreal. There was a fair amount of bashing going on about House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) being insufficiently anti-Israel. But Jebreal took it to another level when she referred to Jeffries as an “AIPAC monkey” while Ali merely stared and nodded:
“By the way, his name is Hakeem. ‘Hakeem’ is an Arabic name which means ‘healer.’ He’s not a healer, he’s a divider,” Jebreal told Ali.
“He is a bought and paid by AIPAC monkey,” she continued. “With all due respect — and I don’t mean it in a racist way.”
“He is just basically an errand boy, and we’re done and tired,” Jebreal said.
Watch:
Disgusting! Left-wing journalist Rula Jebreal attacks Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who could become the first Black Speaker of the House, calling him an “AIPAC monkey” and an “errand boy.”

Sadly for Ali and Jebreal, the Congressional Black Caucus was paying attention and responded accordingly:
To be clear, there isn’t a non-racist way to call Leader Jeffries—a Black man—a “monkey” or “errand boy.”
@WajahatAli, this is what happens when we hold ourselves to such low standards for what’s allowable in our discourse—people get comfortable being openly bigoted.
We have to stop platforming and trafficking in anti-Black racism, whether it’s on the political right or the left.

We have to… https://t.co/3Cu32T3JYT

As did Democratic House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (MA-05) and other House Dems:
If you have to mention “I don’t mean it in a racist way,” what you’re saying is racist.
This language is disgusting and should be called out for what it is. https://t.co/91C59AwlDu
— Katherine Clark (@WhipKClark) September 4, 2026
This is reprehensibly racist language that must be condemned.
Calling Leader Jeffries a “monkey” and an “errand boy”… really? No subtext, no dog whistle, just easily going straight to “monkey”.
There must be zero tolerance for racism in our political discourse. Period. https://t.co/iKZrgR3VAs

For her part, Jebreal has issued an apology of sorts, but she couldn’t resist throwing in another false accusation of “Israeli genocide” for good measure:
I am disgusted and horrified that Hakeem Jeffries is taking money from AIPAC amidst Israel's genocide in Palestine.
That said, a term that I used to describe him was inappropriate and offensive and should never have been used.
I apologize unconditionally.— Rula Jebreal (@rulajebreal) September 4, 2026
The thing is, though, she knew at the time what she was saying, considering these tweets that have not aged well:
She knew. pic.twitter.com/WqgpjRa2Rk

They both knew:
Is the way he didn’t flinch when she called Jeffries a monkey. They’ve definitely said that shit before.

And Wajahat just nods along as his guest calls Hakeem Jeffries a monkey and an errand boy for AIPAC. What’s a little racism if you’re self-righteously anti-Semitic?

You don't have to agree with Hakeem Jeffries to understand what it means when a Black man in his position is called a “monkey” or a “boy.”
Rula Jebreal and Wajahat Ali… they are telling the rest of us exactly how they see us too. pic.twitter.com/tE8xMqnhcl— Zackory Kirk (@zackoryk) September 4, 2026
She’s often trotted out on cable panels as a journalist who is not to be questioned. https://t.co/A2UJhxnyjJ

Ali, meanwhile, is spinning like a top, engaging in whataboutism in response to the criticism and outrage while posting a longer clip where he mentioned it was wrong to call a black person a monkey, which actually makes him look worse when you consider that he tossed it in there as an obligatory, throwaway line:
Glad we both agree that Islamophobia and racism are bad.
Here’s the full exchange where I made it clear that no one should ever use the word monkey, even as a slip of the tongue, because of the racist history.
Watch the video, and also stop supporting AIPAC and retweeting… https://t.co/gqv0RxwMdBpic.twitter.com/FXxhVNMkxF

But the real issue here, y’all, is that Ali is the true victim in all of this:
Many of the folks who have smoke for me today, a small time podcast host who drives a minivan, somehow barely muster a few or zero words of condemnation against Laura Loomer, Randy Fine, Bill Maher, Fetterman and other racists and apologists for Israel's genocide.
Interesting.…

“I’m just a little itty bitty podcast host, why are you being so mean to me!” So disingenuous.

If I ran Mossad I’d target both Ali and Jebreal for termination probably in some embarrassing fashion, They probably do more damage then most arab terrorists and they either are completely ignorant or shameless liars and probably both, That probably means I wouldn’t run Mossad for long since Israel seems to have a hands off policy but there you have it
Oh and Piker would be on the list as well.
It’s safe to compare blacks to elephants, an animal that Warburton said is the only animal having no ridiculous aspect.
“By which we see it was not Mr. Pope’s intention to bring any of the ape’s qualities, but its sagacity, into the comparison. But why the ape’s, it may be said, rather than the sagacity of some more decent animal, particularly the half-reasoning elephant, as the poet calls it; which, as well on account of this its excellence, as for its having no ridiculous side, like the ape, on which it could be viewed, seems better to have deserved this honour?”
Be careful not to call anybody a water buffalo. That won’t turn out well.
The core beliefs of the leftists ain’t hard to divine, they will straight up tell on themselves by the consistency in their choice of language and especially by reviewing their actions over time. When some lefty/wokiesta DSA goon wants to all you ‘that was then, I don’t believe all those things I said and did’ and they’ve tried to delete or otherwise hide/conceal their internet footprint then they’re FOS.
Arab Muslims are some of the biggest and most brazen racists around, when it comes to their attitudes towards black people.
I recall witnessing a verbal altercation between two drivers in D.C., earlier this year — a presumable Arab Muslim and a black guy. The Arab Muslim shouted at the black guy, “Fuck you, nigger — I’ll send you to Jesus!,” before driving off.
Arab Muslims’ racism and religious supremacism, encapsulated in the same ugly statement.
Arabs have been slaving and selling black people since the 7th century. No one should ever let them forget it.
Typical leftists in the Church of Woke: transgressions like racism are sins for everyone else, but it’s fine when they do it.
The “Elder Brother” Concept: In his 1921 book, On the Edge of the Primeval Forest, Schweitzer famously wrote: “The Negro is a child, and with children nothing can be done without the use of authority… With regard to the Negroes, then, I have coined the formula: ‘I am your brother, it is true, but your elder brother.'”
Albert Schweitzer
I’m not sure what relevance this quote has to the topic being discussed. Also I’m not sure if you are quoting this approvingly or disapprovingly. I’ve not read the book in question, but it sure sounds to me like Schweitzer was being a patronizing and genuinely racist liberal when he said this.
Sounds like Rula Jebreal knows a lot about monkeys and errand boys, because she is both herself. She has very little room to talk. Like the pot calling the pan black. This country would be better off, with out her kind, trying to destroy America all the time.
“and I don’t mean it in a racist way.”
I’m stealing that.
If it ever actually works for me, I’ll buy the house a round.
“If it ever actually works for me, I’ll buy the house a round.”
You just said that knowing you would never actually lose any money.
But calling a non-Nazi a Nazi is fine, yes? And calling non-racists racist is likewise all good and proper?
Just FOAD, you Commie turd. No one with two brain cells to rub together takes your fake outrage seriously.
In the time of chimpanzees, Hakeem was a monkey.
Wow big shocker many Muslims are racist. They turned the BLM movement into one all about themselves and now claim to be “brown” whatever that means ? They only thing in common these assholes have with anyone in the “big tent” is they all can agree to scapegoat Jews. Other than that mutual bigotry they got nothing. Is this why you don’t let bigots speak for your party and be celebrated.
Let’s go back to memes of Hakeem with a sombrero and a mustache, they were more entertaining.
Typical Liberal Apology: “I’m sorry… that you are too stupid to see how ‘monkey errand boy’ wasn’t meant as racist.”
That Palestinians were allies of the Nazis in WWII is a fact that gets way too little airtime these days, though we get reminders of their racism and genocidal Jew-hatred like these on occasion.
Absolutely they were, with clear documentation of their continued teaching of Nazi era literature like Mein Kampf in their UN “schools.” On top of that they have racially segregated neighborhoods in Gaza, with the black neighborhood literally being called the “slave” neighborhood in Arabic. This isn’t subtle, micro-aggression level racism here. It’s full on in your face disgusting prejudice, yet Israel is called apartheid by these racist morons.
Yet another reason why the right needs more black conservatives running for office.
Won’t catch me running defense for Hakeem Jeffries, no way no how. I’m just gonna enjoy the collapse of the DNC machine.
