Carrie Prejean & Larry King

The media is right now making fun of Carrie Prejean, the Miss California who was attacked for stating her religious views about gay marriage (my guess is if her religious was Islam they wouldn't have cared so much), for walking out on Larry King (with even a dig at her for calling Palin her hero):

After talking to King about Sarah Palin, whom she called her hero, Prejean became combative when asked about her motivations for settling, repeatedly claiming that King was being "inappropriate" by asking the questions.

...

Even after King reframed his question to make it clear that he wasn't asking about confidential mediation or the settlement amount, Prejean, smiling and asking questions of someone outside of the frame of the camera, continued to say, "You're being inappropriate," until she finally removed her microphone and ended the interview. She still remained seated awkwardly, alone on-camera in a CNN studio, at one point addressing King without her microphone.

Prejean's reluctance to open up to Larry King comes as a surprise, after a week spent speaking candidly to the media about a video, rumored to be involved in her sudden settlement with the pageant organization, that Prejean claims she made for an ex-boyfriend. On Tuesday, she told the "Today" show that the video was "the biggest mistake of my life."

Prejean has spent the past few months in demand as a public speaker at conservative Christian events.

If you watch the video, Carrie wasn't getting combative until Larry King repeatedly asked her questions about the settlement with the pageant despite her saying it was off limits due to confidentiality. Larry King just wouldn't let up. She probably didn't want to even risk saying something that would violate the agreement, which is totally understandable to me and was probably done on the advice of her counsel. Then right after this disagreement, Larry puts through a phone caller who is a gay man who wants to ask her about the issue that she probably is sick of talking about, gay marriage. I'm sure in the heat of the moment she felt Larry King and his staff were doing this on purpose and decided to take off her mike. Could she have handled it better, sure. But Larry King was being pretty insistent on an issue she said was off limits for legal reasons repeatedly.

The liberal media hypocrites sure did not care that Obama, the Clintons, and several other liberal elites they fawned over share the same views as Carrie Prejean on gay marriage, and made religious statements as well on that.
