We know that this is going to reduce the deficit by over a trillion dollars. So you've got a good package, in terms of substance. I don't spend a lot of time worrying about what the procedural rules are in the House or the Senate.
Reduce the deficit by a trillion dollars? Huh? No, it costs a trillion dollars and you are using tax increases and medicare cuts to cover those costs. There is even talk that you will use your student loan takeover to help fund the bill. And as anyone knows, these analyses are always static anyway and don't take into account the economic dampening effects that higher taxes have. This is going to blow up the budget even more than it is already (if that's possible).
