Can we expect a complaint from Aron Sorkin?

Ohio deer hunters donate more venison for hungry

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The state says Ohio deer hunters are giving more venison to food banks, helping hungry families hit by joblessness.

The Ohio Division of Wildlife says hunters have donated more than 104,000 pounds of meat so far this deer season, up from 95,500 pounds by this time last year.

The division encourages venison donations through a partnership with Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry. That group's national operations director Josh Wilson says in a statement that Ohio hunters' increased generosity helps food banks facing increased demand at a time of high unemployment in many areas.

Ohio this weekend will provide two more days for hunting deer with guns. The archery deer hunting season remains open through early February.
