Egypt's Mursi faces judicial revolt over decree

Yesterday, I happened to tune in to NPR with E.J. Dionne and David Brooks discussing Mursi's power grab. I was not surprised to hear them both justify why Mursi's actions were appropriate and not worrying yet. The yet was a CYA not a strong concern.  As the posting by John below about Statist Thugs points out there are people who yearn for the strong man to lead them out of their worries in spite of the risks.

It is odd to me that these elites cannot see the link between the anti democratic nature of fundamental Islam and the current government of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood.
