MSNBC guest says ‘revolution’ is needed to stop ‘terrifying’ acts of ‘dictator’ Trump

MSNBC commentator Donny Deutsch said that it’s time for people to take to the streets and spark a “revolution” agains the “terrifying” acts of the “dictator” president.

Here’s what he said:

“We have a guy, a president, who is clearly,” Deutsch said, “owned by Putin, we have an investigation going, OK, that’s good news.”

“We basically have a press release that’s been put out, thats’ been twisted and mangled that now will give this president permission to fire [Deputy Attorney General Rod] Rosenstein, who will now take over this investigation.” 

“Our democracy is under siege!” he added. “People need to start taking to the streets!”

“This is a dictator! This is not something to analyze anymore,” he continued. “This is not a, oh what a good day for Trump.” 

“This is frightening stuff if you’re an American,” he said. “If you’re someone who’s eighty years old and sitting at home and you’ve watched the greatness of this country, you should be terrified.” 

“And if you’re a twelve-year-old and the future is in front of you, this is terrifying,” he continued, “this is not time to analyze to pundit.” 

“People, this is a, we need a revolution at this point,” he concluded. 

Nicole Wallace, the show’s host, appeared to sympathize and agree with Deutsche’s anger.

Is Trump firing Rosenstein?

The administration has put out a statement saying they are not planning on firing Rosenstein, nor have they even discussed the possibility. 

Various lawmakers of both parties have said publicly that if Trump fired Rosenstein, he would spark a constitutional crisis. 

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), who commissioned the memo, has said that it’s not Republicans who are trying to tie the memo to Mueller’s investigation, not Republicans.
