U.S. Border Patrol Agents continue apprehending previously convicted sex offenders. Authorities came to the aid of a twice-convicted and twice-deported man who called 911 after getting lost. The man had two convictions in the U.S. for “sex with a minor,”
according to CBP.
“Tucson Sector agents apprehended Adrian Castro-Garcia, a 33-year-old Mexican national illegally present in the country, late Monday evening. Castro-Garcia called 911 after he became lost in the desert after illegally crossing the international border. Agents quickly located him and provided medical attention,” CBP explained.
CBP reported that this man had been “convicted of sex with a minor in 2013 and again in 2014 by Los Angeles County, California. In both cases he was sentenced to more than 150 days of incarceration” and each time he was removed from United States subsequent to serving each sentence.
