The dishonest Barak Obama

Move on Mr. BO

Someone tell this festering boil to get back to Martha’s Vineyard and stay in his lane.

Another interview, and no one asks former President Obama anything.  It’s embarrassing, but that’s what you get when you only sit down with people in the tank for you.

Enter Stephen Colbert, who is now the latest to join the “kiss Obama’s butt” effort.  At one point, the former President said this:

I’m worried about the Republican Party, not just the Democrat Party. When I was president, people would ask me, ‘What change would you like to see in Washington?’ I’d say, I’d love a loyal opposition. I’d love a Republican Party that was conservative in some ways, that didn’t agree with me on a whole bunch of stuff, but believed in rule of law and judicial independence and the empirical evidence of science, and wasn’t constantly tapping into our worst impulses.

The White House shouldn’t be able to direct the AG to go around prosecuting whoever the president wants prosecuted. You can’t have a situation where whoever is in charge of the government starts using that to go after their political enemies or reward their friends.

Well, where do you start?  I would love to see a Democrat party that isn’t obsessed with impeachment, demonizing ICE, and defending criminals.

Incredibly, or maybe not incredibly, Colbert did not ask him about the famous Russia hoax created to destroy the Trump presidency.  And what about going around Congress to implement a climate agenda that Congress did not vote for?  Or legalizing a million people by executive order?  Or going into Libya and the War Powers Act?  IRS vs. tea party conservatives?  What else am I missing?

The whole thing was too much for Governor DeSantis who said this:

The Russia collusion hoax would like a word.

Let me close by saying that former presidents should stay out of politics.  The best example here is former President Bush, who doesn’t do commentary and sticks to talking baseball.  He is done with politics as he said in his last press conference back in 2009President Obama should be done with politics too.  But his ego does not allow him to step aside and let history write his story.  I think he is falling apart because his legacy is down to an ugly presidential building in Chicago and making silly statements like in this interview with Colbert.

Get off the stage Mr. Obama.  Your time is up and it’s time to say goodbye.
