UAW members just don't get it
Bailout Watch 334: UAW Workers Proactive Protest at Detroit Auto Show
As John has often posted, there is a large segment of the population that would rather see suffering then adopt a course of actionthat they don't like, think lower taxes. The UAW thinks that the bailout is a gift to the unions. It may well be. As I've said before, it may just be the union workers severance package. Has anyone ever asked the UAW what it has done to make the auto compannies more productive? Make the companies they work for more able to fight the competition?
