How many jobs has Mr. Krugman created? Mr. Krugman is a distorter of facts and therefore a liar. As an economist he knows the high tax rate during the Eisenhower years had so many exemptions that nearly no one paid that rate. He also should know though I doubt he would admit it that people, talent and money are not static. Raising the rate to 91% is so extreme that it will change people's economic decision making process radically. He's a pompous a** preening before his audience the 10/2 rally crowd and his friends in government who dream of becoming the next Hugo Chavez. Here, Krugman tries to justify theft in the name of whatever he thinks the society should be doing. He and his comrades just know they are better and know more then you. Want a Nobel Prize? Just laud Communism.
