Hamas is always given a pass by the UN, EU, etc. Not to mention Jimmy Carter

Hamas clip shows rockets fired from populated area

Hamas releases video of rockets launched out of populated area, risking damage to global image

A clip released by Hamas Monday shows the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the terrorist group's military wing, firing rockets toward Gaza vicinity communities – from a populated area.

In the clip fast-paced shooting can be seen, probably from a multiple rocket launcher. It is clear in the video that the launching spot is surrounded by civilian structures, which could further tarnish the group's global image.

Terror groups in the Gaza Strip have been known to shoot out of populated areas so as to stop the IDF from retaliating in a manner that may target innocent citizens. But while they often release videos of the rocket fire, the groups seldom document shooting from populated areas. Whenever they do, they usually blur the surroundings so that Israel cannot use it against them.

Hamas presents: Firing from populated area

Some 20 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip toward Israel overnight Sunday, after the IDF attacked terror hubs in the Strip. A few air raid sirens sounded on Monday morning, but the IDF said that they were false and that the final rocket was launched at 6 am.

The rockets exploded in open areas, with no injuries reported. Hamas' military wing claimed they were launched "in response to continued Israeli attacks."

According to Palestinian reports, the IAF scattered notices Monday in the south of the Gaza Strip, warning citizens that terrorists were using populated areas to protect themselves from IDF strikes, thereby endangering the lives of citizens and their children.
