"Sanctimonious hypocrites" pretty much sums up DiFi and the leftists. They never consider context. Torture is people jumping from the Twin Towers.
Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin (ret.) tore into the Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday, calling them “sanctimonious hypocrites” for releasing a report detailing enhanced interrogation techniques used by the CIA in the years after 9/11.
“Maybe I’m the meanest person in the world, I don’t know,” Stu Burguiere asked Boykin on The Glenn Beck Program. “But things like, ‘Attention grasp — the interrogator grabs the detainee by the collar with two hands and pulls him closer in.’ That’s torture now?”
“This report came from a bunch of sanctimonious hypocrites,” Boykin said. “This is not torture. I’ll tell you what’s torture — torture is what we’ve done to the veterans at the VA hospitals. Torture is what we’ve done by having the IRS go after conservative groups. You want to talk about torture? The students that go through the survival school in the Army, Navy and Air Force go through far worse things than what’s mentioned in this report.”
Also on the program was Kamal Saleem, who was recruited by the Muslim Brotherhood as a child and joined the Palestinian Liberation Organization at just 7 years old. Saleem said that when he got older, “the Saudis sent me to United States of America for still jihad, [to] infiltrate the United States of America.”
Burguiere asked Saleem whether the people who trained him would consider the United States’ enhanced interrogation techniques “torture.”
“We were taught from when I was 7 years old how to commit suicide missions and to kill other people,” he said. “We were trained to take heads off. We saw what happened in Oklahoma … when she did not convert, he took her head off.”
And Saleem said radical Islamists are not waging violent jihad because America is “mean” or because of any of its policies.
“We’ve been taught this from our infancy — to establish Islamic civilization, one nation under Allah,” he said.
If you want to read more about Saleem’s story, he and Gen. Boykin recently released a book called “The Coalition.”
