Crime and why people want to leave these neighborhoods

Video shows gunmen open fire on group during Brooklyn vigil

Five people were injured in the latest incident of gun violence that broke out moments before 11 p.m. on Sterling Street near Brooklyn Avenue, cops said.
The surveillance video, released by the NYPD Wednesday, shows two hooded men walk up to the corner, pull pistols from their waistbands and open fire.
Specks that can be seen flitting in front of the surveillance camera are not bullets, police said.
Each gunman got off at least three shots each, the video shows.
The victims were all expected to survive.
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the triggermen.
