Gunman on motorcycle opens fire on Bronx street, strikes car: video

A gunman on a motorcycle or dirt bike opened fire on a Bronx street last week — sending bullets flying through a car, new video released by police shows.

Video released late Tuesday shows the shooter riding east on East 172nd Street around 12:30 a.m. Nov. 24, before firing off several shots at the intersection of St. Lawrence Avenue in Soundview.

A black 2006 Acura TL four-door sedan, driven by a 28-year-old man, was struck, police said.

The driver — who did not appear to be the intended target, according to cops — was unharmed, but the front and rear windshields were damaged.

The gunman drove off after the incident, continuing along East 172 Street and then heading north on Beach Avenue.

Another motorcyclist can then be seen trailing the shooter.
