I tried watching Curb Your Enthusiasm on a couple of occasions but was unable to. It never struck me as funny but rather pathetic. I found Seinfeld to have many of the same negative attributes but, a least Seinfeld was a more interesting character.
The Seinfeld show was somewhat amusing to me because it was a pretty fair representation of the upper west side of Manhattan characters...liberal losers, the mildly insane and crooked.
But Larry David himself is far worse. He lives off the worst stereotype of Jews, neurotic, unstable, cheaters, deceptive and cowardly. In other words a cruder Woody Allen, with less talent. When you think of this conjure up the Seinfeld character image. He sold a show about nothing. He whined incessantly and surrounded himself with Costanza who prided himself on not working or being able to perform or commit. The other characters speak for themselves.
I can appreciate humor from people who don't like religion but I will not accept the elitist hostility that mocks, curses and denigrates other peoples beliefs.
