This shows the kind of special stupid Chavez is in matters of the marketplace. If they leave, which I sincerely hope they do, Venezuela does not have the currency to import cars so they'll become another Cuba...how's that '55 Chevy doin' for ya'.
Belarus most significant car is? Don't recall? Well neither do I since their cars are Russian made copies of 1960's Fiats. Russia has been begging the Europeans with help modernizing their auto industry for years now so unless Venezuela wants to replace modern Toyota's with those very same Lada's, they'll get no real benefit from going to the Russians.
Communism only exists as long as there is other people's money or products to steal. Once the pot is dry, they wind up begging for toilet paper. Chavez is on the way to the bottom as he runs out of other people's money. Venezuela once a rich country by Latin America standards is becoming the empty basket that Cuba and Zimbabwe are. Everyone will be poor except for Chavez cronies, just like Cuba and Zimbabwe.
