The very liberal media confirms what we already knew

Payoff: Obama aides land cushy media jobs

The mainstream media seems to be giving up its fight with conservatives that it acted as an arm of the Obama campaign in the last presidential election. The new trend: hiring Obama insiders.
The latest proof came Tuesday when NBC announced the hiring of chief Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod as a "senior political strategist." A week earlier, the Washington Post added Obama and Democratic advisor Hilary Rosen, notable for sneering that Ann Romney "never worked a day in her life."
Axelrod will appear on both NBC and MSNBC broadcasts, the network said.
Rosen will write the paper's "Insider's" column with Republican strategist Ed Rogers. She caused outrage on the right when she hit Romney during a TV appearance. "Guess what?" Rosen said. "His wife has actually never worked a day in her life. She's never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing." She later apologized.
And earlier this month, former White House spokesman Robert Gibbs landed a gig on MSNBC.
Conservatives were quick to rap the new hires. "MSNBC has always been the media wing of the never-ending Obama campaign and now they've just made it official by bringing a top campaign strategist inside MSNBC to make sure they never stray from pro-Obama spin," said Brent Baker, the Media Research Center executive who also helps Secrets with the weekly Mainstream Media Screamfeature.
