Speaking at the meeting, far-left elitist and former presidential climate envoy John Kerry expressed frustration to fellow globalists, stating that the First Amendment frequently obstructs their agenda.

In the Year of Our Lord 2024, according to the British governing authorities, if, as a British citizen (a white supremacist terrorist, in other words), you discover on your way home from France a “migrant” who has stashed himself in your automobile, then report the incident to the cops, you find yourself liable for “bringing in a clandestine immigrant.”
“A couple are calling unfair a £3,000 fine they received after informing police they had found a migrant hiding in their van as they arrived in the UK from France.
Jane Cave and her husband Ed Masters from Broomsthorpe in Norfolk had initially found a man in the back of the van at a supermarket on their way to the French border, and he was removed.
But when travelling through Suffolk on the journey home, they heard knocking and found another migrant and called the police.
Several months after the incident, they received the fine from Border Force, which said it had "sufficient evidence" for the penalty…
A few months later, they received a letter informing them that they were being fined.
"It said we are fining you for bringing in a clandestine immigrant," she said.
"[I thought] why? It's not our fault.
"We did everything right."
The couple must pay the fine within the next two years but was paying monthly due to not being able to pay it off in full…
A Home Office spokesperson said: "We are fully committed to stopping people from illegally entering the country and cracking down on people smugglers.
"We do not issue clandestine entrant civil penalty fines without sufficient evidence."”
The real bitter irony here is that it’s a virtual guarantee this “migrant” was immediately released after being apprehended and presumably is running around the UK at this very moment, free as a jaybird with a government EBT card and a comfy bed in what used to be a school repurposed as a “migrant shelter,” and possibly a couple of underage British sex slaves to keep him warm at night.
Somehow, the Polish — who apparently don’t sufficiently respect Diversity™ and its many blessings — don’t seem to have the same kind of problems.

Behest Payments
The influence of money in politics is something that has concerned advocates of good government for many decades. As a result, California has transparency laws that require the disclosure of campaign donations and spending.
While state law places limits on contributions to a candidate’s campaign and on gifts to an elected official, there is one kind of donation that operates differently, allowing elected officials to request unlimited amounts of money from individuals, businesses or other entities, even those that have an interest in a particular government action or policy.
This type of donation is called a “behested payment.” According to state campaign finance regulators, a payment is considered “behested” if it is made at the request, suggestion or solicitation of, or made in cooperation, consultation, coordination or concert with the public official; and it is made for a legislative, governmental or charitable purpose.
Officials must report behested payments within 30 days of the date on which the payment meets or exceeds $5,000 from a single source.
As one example, Gov. Gavin Newsom reported more than $3.6 million in behested payments to fund his 2023 inaugural festivities. Some entities
donated as much as $250,000 at the governor’s request.
Elected officials can exert undue influence on the people and entities they govern. It’s something to watch.

epic boondoggle,
the high-speed rail project, will cost even more to build and will have millions fewer riders than previously projected.
That’s according to the latest report from the California High- Speed Rail Authority. The 2023 project update from agency officials blames the “impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on global supply chains and the resulting market instability and inflation” for an impact on the prices of construction materials and labor.
The rail authority now esti- mates that the complete 500- mile project will cost up to $128 billion. Not every state lawmaker is onboard. “Californians have lost faith in this project, and the Legislature has lost faith as well,” said Assembly Member Vince Fong, R-Bakersfield. Senate Minority Leader Brian Jones, R-Santee, posted on Twitter that “it’s time to pump the brakes on the hot mess

Under the terms of Proposition 1A, the bond measure that launched the high-speed rail project in 2008, the bullet train must be able to operate without a public subsidy. However, the latest project update report indicates new challenges on that front. According to updated estimates of ridership, 31.3 million passengers are expected to take the bullet train between San Francisco and Los Angeles in 2040. That’s about 7.3 million fewer than previously estimated.
The High-Speed Rail Authority pointed to lower population and employment growth forecasts, as well as a general decline in transit ridership in California, as the cause of the lower ridership
projections. The agency claimed that despite the drop-off, high- speed rail between Merced and Bakersfield “will nearly double current rail ridership” between those cities.
Taxpayers may wonder if doubling the existing rail ridership between Merced and Bakersfield is worth the roughly $35 billion that the 171-mile “early operating segment” is now projected to cost. Experience suggests it could be even more by the time the segment is completed, estimated to happen by the end of 2030.
the bullet train is largely funded by the state’s “cap-and-trade” program, which requires utilities, refineries and other companies to buy permits to emit greenhouse gases. A 2014 law dedicated 25% of the revenue raised from selling the permits to building high-speed rail. However, the cap-and-trade program, which adds an estimated 23 cents to the price of a gallon of gasoline, expires in 2030.
In the High-Speed Rail Authority’s latest report, chief executive officer Brian Kelly, whose 2021 salary and benefits totaled more than $535,600, called on lawmakers to provide “an answer on how this project will be funded after 2030.” He wrote that “megaprojects that last for decades need long-term, stable funding.”
“Funding” is a word that government officials often use when what they really mean is “tax increase.”

A man has been arrested after allegedly setting two fires in the western German city of Essen that left 30 people injured and driving a van into two shops, authorities said Sunday.
Emergency services were alerted to two fires in residential buildings in quick succession shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday, police said.
The injured people included eight children who were seriously hurt, and two of them were in a life-threatening condition after inhaling smoke.

Meanwhile, since August 5, 2024, massive attacks on Hindus, including their homes, businesses and temples began, while local media were barred from covering these incidents, as the Yunus regime has been arresting critics and journalists and bringing murder cases against them.
As Yunus is enjoying full support of the Biden administration as well as Democratic Party leaders such as Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, none of the rights groups, including Amnesty International or Human Rights Watch has issued any statement pertaining attacks (including murder and rapes) on Hindus in the country.
Organizations such as Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) also did not issue any statement condemning the arrest of journalists and imprisoning them in murder cases.

There are currently 425,431 convicted non-citizen criminals still inside the U.S.
There are more than 13,000 non-detained illegal immigrants convicted of homicide currently inside the U.S., according to a top Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official.
According to a letter ICE Deputy Director Patrick Lechleitner sent to Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, with statistics on non-detained non-citizens with criminal convictions still inside the U.S.
Non-detained citizens include those apprehended at the border and released as well as those currently involved in immigration court proceedings.
The letter, released on Friday, states that there are 13,099 non-detained non-citizens with murder convictions, 15,811 with sexual offense convictions and 425,431 convicted criminals.
There are 222,141 total non-detained non-citizens with pending criminal charges. Of that total, there are 1,845 with homicide charges and 4,250 with pending sexual assault charges.
Former President Trump reacted to the statistics on social media.
"I've been saying this from the beginning of the Harris-Biden Administration, as soon as I learned they opened the Borders. Nobody who has allowed this to happen to our Country is fit to be President of the United States!" he wrote.
"Bad timing for her to show up to the Border today, after not going for four years. Why didn't she release these numbers earlier?" he added.
House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark E. Green, R-Tenn., said the statistics demonstrate that the release of illegal immigrants from the border into the U.S. defies common sense.
“It may be shocking to hear that the Biden-Harris administration is actively releasing tens of thousands of criminal illegal aliens into our communities, but their own numbers conclusively prove this to be the case. This defies all common sense," he said in a statement on Friday.
"Under President Biden and his ‘border czar,’ Vice President Harris, DHS law enforcement has been directed to mass-release illegal aliens whom they know have criminal convictions or are facing charges for serious crimes—and these dangerous, destructive individuals are making their way into every city and state in this country. How many more Americans need to die or be victimized before this administration is forced to abide by the laws they swore to uphold? This is madness. It is something no civilized, well-functioning society should tolerate," he added.
