My Daily Reads

I have a very extensive blogroll to the right, and I try to get to as many of them as I can when, but I do have my daily must-read sites, the places I go to every day (most of these put up new stuff almost every day). Jerry probably has his own, but this is mine (in no particular order):

1) Instapundant  The blogfather, amazing number of interesting links with short trenchant commentary when required.

2) Liberty's Torch  Fran Porretto is one of the smartest people on the internet. I am constantly amazed by the breath and depth of his knowledge on a large myriad of subjects and a superb writer to boot. His colleagues at the site are no slouches either.

3) Curmudgeonly & Skeptical  Roger is very funny and consistently on target. I've been reading it since I started this blog because I was originally going to name this blog Curmudgeonly and Skeptical and found out it was already taken. He's always good for a laugh or at least a groan.

4) Doug Ross @ Journal  A great selection of top posts every day.

5) Hit & Run  Reason Magazine's blog, filled with libertarian goodness.

6) American Thinker  Tons of well written and researched pieces.

7) Dissecting Leftism  John Ray does some great work dissecting the social scientific pretenses of the left and their other strange ideas.

8) Cafe Hayek  An island of economic sense in an ocean of quasi-socialist economic nonsense. Don Boudreaux is a great guy too.

9) Coyote Blog  Libertarian sense written from the front lines by someone who has to deal with government idiocy daily.

10) Sultan Knish  One of the best essayists on the web.

11) Diplomad 2.0  An inside look at government idiocy and madness from a career diplomat.

12) Cold Fury   Classic rants.

13) Declination  A relative newcomer, but another great essayist.

14) Knowledge is Power  SondraK and crew, funny and biting.

15) Ace of Spades   Rants, puzzles, humor.
