Just days after ISIS terrorists attacked Paris, an ambulance packed with explosives was found outside of a soccer stadium in Hannover, Germany, a German newspaper reported. [4]
The truck disguised as a rescue vehicle was found before the German national team was set to play Netherlands on Tuesday, which led to the evacuation of the HD Arena and the cancellation of the game.
Police said they had a “concrete threat” [5] that there was a planned explosion at the arena.
The German soccer team was playing against France when the terror attacks occurred on November 13.
Here’s what you need to know:
  1. The Cancellation Came About 90 Minutes Before Kickoff

An announcement was made at the Hannover stadium about 90 minutes before the friendly match was set to be played, asking all in attendance to leave the arena. Fans were told to leave “quickly,” but without panic and go home.
The announcement said, “Please go in small groups back home, it’s better this way.”
The game was set to start at 8:45 p.m. local time. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other cabinet ministers were set to attend the game.
According to the Associated Press, Hannover police chief Volker Kluwe said on TV, “We had concrete evidence that someone wanted to set off an explosive device in the stadium.”
An earlier threat had turned out to be a false alarm, police said.
“After the first object turned out to be harmless, we got a tip that had to be taken seriously that an attack was being planned,” Kluwe said.
Heavily armed police were seen outside the stadium and were searching vehicles as they left the area.
There was already tight security at the stadium, the Associated Press reports. Bags were being searched and police bomb sniffing dogs were on hand.
2. Another Arena Was Also Evacuated Before a Concert & a Train Station Was Shut Down

TUI Arena in Hannover has also been evacuated, the Associated Press reports. Attendees at the arena were waiting for the band Soehne Mannheims to play, the AP reports.
A train station was shut down after a suspicious device was found, RT reports.

During the attacks in France on November 13, three suicide bombers detonated explosives outside of Stade de Francis, just north of Paris. One other person, who was waiting to enter the stadium, was killed in the explosions.
According to the Wall Street Journal, one of the bombers attempted to enter the stadium, where France was playing against Germany during a game attended by French President Hollande, but was stopped at a security checkpoint. He then detonated his bomb, and the two other attackers soon followed suit.
The game continued, and after the area was determined to be clear fans were let out of the stadium. Hollande was evacuated after gunmen attacked multiple other locations in Paris.
4. A Soccer Game Between Belgium and France Was Also Cancelled

On Monday, a game scheduled to be played Tuesday in Brussels between the Belgium and Spain was also cancelled over security concerns, the BBC reported.
“Taking into account the exceptional circumstances, we cannot take any security risk to our players and fans,” the Belgian Football Association said in a statement, adding it deeply regrets the late decision to cancel the match and understood the disappointment of supporters.

You just can’t make this stuff up. It’s goes from terrible to horrible. We have been completely infiltrated thanks to the leftist running dogs for Islam.
As for the brother’s protestations. I don’t believe him. They lie. It’s a religious imperative. How many ISIS devout murderers did he expedite into Europe.
Brother of Paris Attacker Worked in Belgian Immigration Department,” By Trey Sanchez, TR, November 17, 2015
Immigrants, refugees, ISIS militants among them… connection or just coincidence?
Mohamed Abdeslam is the brother of two of the terrorists that attacked Paris Friday night. They hail from Molenbeek, an impoverished immigrant district in Brussels known to be a jihadi hotbed. One of Mohamed’s brothers, Ibrahim, blew himself up outside of the cafe Comptoir Voltaire near the Bataclan concert hall. The other, Salah, is now on the run after making it back across the Belgian border and is currently one of the world’s most wanted terrorists. Mohamed was held and questioned by French police, but later released after it was determined he played no role in the attacks.
However, a bit of interesting information was released about the man. An ex-mayor of Molenbeek said up until the time Mohamed was arrested, he worked for the district’s immigration department. In light of the current mass refugee influx in Europe suspected to be ushering in scores of ISIS militants, this is a most remarkable detail.
But Mohamed maintains that he had nothing to do with the attacks and has no idea where his brother may be hiding. Upon his release, he told the media in Belgium:
As far as my brother [Salah] is concerned, we don’t know where he is right now. He grew up here, studied here, he is a totally normal lad. None of us knew anything. Not us, not our family. They are big boys, they are grown-ups. You don’t ask them what they’re doing every time they leave the house.
We are very shocked about what has happened. We learned about it the same way you did. And we can’t believe for a moment that either of my brothers is linked to these attacks. We think of course about the victims, about their families. But you have to understand that we also have a mother, we have a family, and that these remain, despite everything, her children.
The mother said Ibrahim, the one in the suicide vest, may have been “stressed” and believes that the detonation was accidental. Mohamed added that he had an alibi for November, 13, and that’s why he was allowed to walk free.

A 26-year-old suspected suicide bomber who was shot by cops in Mississauga over the weekend — within hours of the terror attacks in Paris — now faces charges.

Peel Regional Police have said “an interaction” with the man began around 1 a.m. Saturday at Golden Orchard Dr. and Grand Forks Rd., near Dixie Rd. and Bloor St., and he was shot by officers.
“The man has been charged,” Const. Geoorge Tudos said Tuesday.
Police have not confirmed that the man was thought to be a suicide bomber.
But sources tell the Sun the man was wearing what appeared to be a suicide vest and holding what looked like a triggering device.
The threat seemed real enough that the bomb squad was called in and some nearby residents were told to take cover in their basements.
The would-be suicide bomber was shot four times by uniformed officers, according to sources. But he survived.
A Sun source says police later learned the vest did not contain explosives.
Hamza Mohamed Abdi, 26, is charged with possession of a imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and fail to comply with a recognizance order.
On Monday Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit, which is probing the police-involved shooting, said the accused was still recovering in hospital.
However, Tudos said Abdi was released in hospital and made his first court appearance in Brampton on Sunday.
