Another Jewish cemetery attacked.

Headstones found toppled at another Jewish cemetery

Headstones at a Jewish cemetery in Brooklyn were found toppled, leading cops to investigate the potential hate crime, law enforcement sources said Sunday.
The Washington Cemetery at 5400 Bay Parkway was closed on Saturday, but passersby could see at least five headstones overturned, police said.
Cemetery officials were going to take a closer took at their 100-acre property on Sunday so they could judge whether the graveyard was targeted by vandals or if the headstones fell due to weather or age, police said.
Assemblyman Dov Hikind said he learned of the fallen headstones from Boro Park Shomrim. He tweeted photos of the destruction. “I’ve spoken w/the NYPD who are investigating,” Hikind tweeted late Saturday night. “I’ll be there in the am.”
Jewish cemeteries in Philadelphia and St. Louis have been targeted for vandalism in the past two weeks.
Bomb threats have been phoned into Jewish community centers, schools and other institutions in recent weeks as well.
Feds on Friday arrested Juan Thompson, a journalist formerly of The Intercept website, for making at least eight recent threats on Jewish institutions in a weird revenge plot against an ex-girlfriend, authorities said.
