Teen calls cops after being shot in the face, suspects arrested

A 19-year-old got shot in the face during a home invasion in Brooklyn — and then managed to call police for help, sources said.
The young man was inside an apartment at 1238 Bay Ridge Ave in Dyker Heights when he was blasted in the cheek after two men barged in to rob the place around 2 p.m., according to police sources.
Despite going in and out of consciousness, he was able to grab a phone and dial 911 — urging authorities to come quick, that he was dying.
Officers eventually arrived and rushed him to Maimonides Medical Center with serious injuries.
Using the description he gave police, cops successfully caught up with the two men who were allegedly involved in the robbery at Fei Long Supermarket on 8th Avenue following a check of the neighborhood, and arrested them.
A gun was said to have been recovered.
The victim’s mother was spotted outside the apartment building on Monday afternoon, crying alongside his teenage brother.
It’s unclear if the man knew the people who tried to rob him.
