Piers Morgan gets one right. The Left's moral relativism on display.

GMB viewers HIT OUT at Shami Chakrabarti over Trump ban as she’s ‘RINSED’ by Piers Morgan

GOOD MORNING BRITAIN viewers have lashed out at Baroness Chakrabarti after her criticism of US President Donald Trump on today’s edition of the ITV breakfast show.

The 47-year-old Labour politician clashed with Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan after she suggested that the tone of Trump’s rhetoric felt like a return to the 1930s.
Shami said she opposed a state visit by President Trump to Britain, saying: "I’m not suggesting Mr Trump shouldn’t be able to come and have meetings with the Prime Minister and so on, I’m just suggesting that a red carpet and a state banquet and an audience with the Queen is something that shouldn’t be put lightly."
Piers hit back as he told her: "Just to push you on this because I did a bit of research also into the number of countries we’ve given state visits too, where they themselves have bans in place, preventing sections of the community from going to their countries.
"Notably Israel, Iran, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Saudia Arabia, Syria, Yemen. Five of which are on Trump’s banned list. You’re not allowed to go there if you have Israel on your passport.
"A number of people we’ve given state visits to the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi having existing bans on Israelis coming to their country, now isn’t there a rank hypocrisy with people jumping up and down?"
A number of people watching the heated debate took to social media, to praise Piers, 51, and hit out at the former director of human rights organisation Liberty.
One person posted on Twitter: “@piersmorgan Well done Piers Morgan.....rinsed Shami!!!”
While another said: “@piersmorgan The sanctimonious political left do their best at shameless hypocrisy. Shami is leading on the humbug today. Exposed by Piers.”
However, there were others who slammed Piers on the micro-blogging site as one viewer questioned: “Has Piers got "glue" ear Shami did not say ban or suspension she said postpone, even I understood that and I'm a mere mortal!”

A second posted: “@piersmorgan @ITV well done Baroness Shami (sic). Showed class. Morgan again talking down to woman again. Give ITN (sic) guests a chance talk Piers.”
Shami also appeared on BBC Breakfast where she was asked for her response to Downing Street’s announcement that it has rejected a petition banning Trump from an official state visit to Britain.
“Well, I would urge the prime minister to think again. This isn’t about she shouldn’t meet Trump. In fact, I urge her to be a little bit more forthright in restating the values on which this special relationship is based,” she said.
The life peer continued: “I’m not saying she shouldn’t be in constant dialogue with the president but a state visit is premature. We should not be rewarding human rights abuses by rolling out the red carpet in this country.”
She was pressed further by BBC Breakfast’s Dan Walker, who told her that Prime Minister Theresa May wanted “Britain to think longterm” and that America was a “great ally”.
Shami responded by explaining: “I think that sounds like appeasement to me. The world is in a very precarious situation at the moment and we will not make this world safer or fairer by appeasing bullies like Mr Trump.”
