Woman who accused Trump of raping her as a teenager abruptly drops lawsuit. Could the recent U. Va.-Rolling Stone verdict have something to do with her decision?

Woman who accused Trump of raping her as a teenager abruptly drops lawsuit

A woman who accused Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump of raping her in the 1990’s abruptly dropped her lawsuit against the billionaire businessman Friday evening — again.
The woman, only identified by the pseudonym “Jane Doe,” has alleged that Trump, along with billionaire Jeffery Epstein, rapped her in 1994 when she was just a 13-year-old aspiring model.
According to Politico, the woman’s lawyer, Thomas Meagher, filed a one page notice in New York federal court Friday to dismiss the lawsuit.
More from Politico:
In the most recent suit, Trump’s accuser asserted that while she was exploring a modeling career in 1994, she attended a series of parties at the Manhattan home of prominent investor Jeffrey Epstein. She alleges that during those parties the real estate mogul tied her to a bed and raped her. She also claimed Epstein raped her during that series of gatherings.
The woman was scheduled to hold a press conference earlier this week to publicly address the allegations for the first time, but canceled it after she said she received threats.
The most recent lawsuit was the third to be filed over the allegations. The first was filed in April and dismissed for technical errors. The second suit was withdrawn and then refiled again in September.
Trump and his team has vehemently denied the allegations.
