France's Islamist problem
Larossi Abballa pledged allegiance to the late ISIS leader after warning of mass murder and carnage at the football tournament
THE sick ISIS killer who brutally hacked down a police chief and his wife has sent out a chilling message warning of mass murder at Euro 2016.
French jihadi Larossi Abballa posted the terrifying Facebook live video just moments after he murdered Jean-Baptiste Salvaing and his wife.
The pair were stabbed at their home on the outskirts of Paris last night.
In the video he said: “Did you think that we would say inattentive? Well you have another thing coming. We have other surprises for you, the Euros.
“The Euros will be a cemetery. You too (President) Hollande, I haven’t forgotten what you said. Us too Hollande, we will also be ruthless, and I was ruthless with this policeman and his wife.”
The terrified child of the couple was in the room as he filmed his chilling message.
In the video, he said: “I don’t know yet what I’ll do with it (the child).”
Police have confirmed that the child has been recovered safely, but is still in a state of shock.
Abballa also said: "I also address the unbelieving French authorities. Here is the result ? (aboutissment) of your work.
"You closed the door of the Hijira (migration) to us. You have closed the door towards the land of (Arabic). Well we have opened the doors of Jihad on your territory."
Abballa also pledges allegiance to the late ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Police suspended the account as soon as they found it, but the sick terrorist had already sent the video to 100 people.
Police sources said earlier in the evening that the attacker had taken the policeman's partner and son hostage after stabbing the officer to death as he returned home.
Residents were evacuated from the neighbourhood as police moved in.
Negotiations were "unsuccessful" and authorities launched an assault around midnight, killing Abballa.
Jean-Baptiste Salvaing, 42, suffered nine stomach wounds and his wife was also tragically killed in the police operation as officers tried to save her.
The news comes as authorities have discovered that Abballa had kept a hit list of politicians, journalists, police officers and rappers.
French cops discovered the list on a computer at the 25-year-old's home during a raid.
Abballa live streamed the attack Facebook profile – under the name ‘Mohamed Ali’ – including a 13 minute video of the murders, and 15 photos, before it was suspended early this morning.
In video he called on Muslims to attack "police, journalists, public figures, prison guards and rappers," listing around a dozen well-known figures by name.
The jihadist then threatened to turn Euro 2016 into a graveyard, four days after the championships started in the country.
Prosecutor Francois Molins said Abballa pledged his allegiance to ISIS three weeks ago and appeared to be following a recent order from ISIS leader Abu Bak al-Baghdadi "to kill miscreants at home with their families" during Ramadan.
Mr Thomson, of Paris radio station RFI, said one particularly chilling post referred to the three-year-old survivor.
At one point, the child was behind Abballa on the sofa, and the terrorist wrote: "I still don’t know what I’m going to do with him."
French cops have revealed the fanatic had been put under wiretap surveillance recently but that had given no indication of the attack.
It has also emerged that he knew the victims of his vile crimes.
Abballa was active on social media, frequently sharing updates about his fast-food delivery business on Facebook and Snapchat.
French security expert David Thomson said Abballa posted gruesome images of the murdered couple on the internet.
A 12-minute video and 15 photographs appeared on Abballa's Facebook page, along with justifications for the crimes he committed.
One of his most recent Facebook posts was a mock-up of the European Championship logo, which he claimed contained masonic and occult symbols.
On May 26 he changed his Facebook profile to a black image, but shared several posts from Muslim groups and charities in the following days before his final post on Monday about the Euro 2016 football tournament.
Three men have been arrested today as part of the enquiry into the murder.
They were described as "acquaintances" and aged 27, 29 and 44.
It has also emerged the knifeman was part of a recent investigation into a Syrian jihadist network.
French President Francois Hollande held an emergency security meeting Tuesday about what he said was "incontestably a terrorist act." He said France was facing a terror threat "of a very large scale."
"France is not the only country concerned (by the terrorist threat), as we have seen, again, in the United States, in Orlando," he said.
France has been on particularly high alert as it hosts Europe's top sporting event, the month long European Championship soccer tournament, and is still under a state of emergency after the November attacks.
Prime Minister Manuel Valls said, "It's a global threat, that is why we are fighting terrorism in Syria and Iraq, and on our soil."
Cops in riot gear arrived at their colleagues house in a desperate bid to save his life
Abballa was born in the Paris commuter town of Mantes-la-Jolie, close to the murder scene.
He was frequently in trouble with the law for theft and violence, and his first criminal conviction was in 2011, when he was 19.
Police found an appointment book at his parents' home containing a list of police stations, mosques and tourist sites in the area, potential targets for attack.
He wrote to a friend: "Have to start the work, I'm thirsty for blood."
Abballa also frequently used social media to call for the murders of police, prison officers and journalists, often by name.
Amaq News Agency, the ‘official’ media arm of the Islamic State, has claimed the killer had carried out the crime on behalf of the terrorist organisation.
