Louis Farrakhan calls for violence...and the DOJ yawns

Posted By Scott Greer On 8:39 PM 11/29/2014 I
Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan went on a fiery tirade about Ferguson on Saturday — threatening that if the demands of protesters aren’t met, “we’ll tear this goddamn country apart!”
Farrakhan stated in his speech — given at Morgan State University, a black college located in Baltimore, Md. — that violence was justified in response to the decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson and peaceful protests are only in the interest of “white folks.”
“We going to die anyway. Let’s die for something,” the radical figure told the crowd to roaring applause.
He even said the parents of teenagers should teach their kids how to throw Molotov cocktails. “Teach your baby how to throw the bottle if they can. Fight,” the minister advised, and then imitated throwing the explosive device.
Farrakhan argued that violence was justified by the “law of retaliation” HE claims is in both the Bible and the Koran.
“In this book, there’s a law for retaliation,” he said, while holding up what appeared to be the NOI version of the Koran, and repeated, “A law for retaliation.”
Farrakhan believes white people will only start listening to black concerns through violence against whites.
“As long as they [whites] kill us [blacks] and go to Wendy’s and have a burger and go to sleep, they’ll keep killing us,” the self-proclaimed minister said. “But when we die and they die, then soon we’re going to sit at a table and talk about it! We’re tired! We want some of this earth or we’ll tear this goddamn country up!”
WATCH:
Farrakhan also criticized President Barack Obama, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and other black leaders for engaging in what he sees as “compromise” and being out of touch with young African-Americans. He believes they are doing the bidding of “white people” by trying to tell protesters in Ferguson to remain calm.
“Tonight in Ferguson everybody is on edge. White folks have never been on edge after they killed a Black man. Tonight they’re on edge; so on edge that our president has come out from behind the curtain to ask young Black people: ‘Cool it. That’s not our way.’” Farrakhan said. “I heard you, Mr. President; and I asked myself a question: What brings you out of the shadows?”
Farrakhan then attacked Eric Holder and black religious leaders for telling “black youth to be peaceful.”
“And you preachers: Your day of being the pacifier for the white man’s tyranny upon black people, you got to know they’re [young blacks] not going to hear you anymore!” Farrakhan declared to standing ovations.
He continued to go after Obama and how he has not gone to “wicked” police departments and demanded they stop killing minorities.
“Why the hell don’t you stand up and tell them that your killing of Black youth and Brown youth is not going to hold no more,” Farrakhan said.
WATCH:
Despite wanting violent confrontations in the area, Farrakhan wrongly referred to Ferguson as “Jefferson” in some of his remarks and only corrected his mistake when audience members shouted out the town’s actual name.

The old saw is that poverty causes crime. The truth is crime causes poverty as Ferguson will now prove again. Where are the jobs that once existed in the burned out stores?

This tight alliance of Communists and Nazis against the rest of the world

The Hidden History of the Winter War
By Bruce Walker
November 30 marks the seventy-fifth anniversary of the most misunderstood but instructive conflicts of the 20th century: the “Winter War” between Russia and Finland.
There is no “ideological spectrum,” and all those vile misologies that arose in the last century – Fascism, Bolshevism, Nazism, and Maoism – are masks that hide men obscenely obsessed with godlike power over other men. Orwell grasped this perfectly when he wrote of those “nasty little isms,” and anyone who has read 1984 sees how the absence of any real coherent system of values is not only possible in, but indispensable to totalitarianism. The notional ideology of Oceania, for example, was “Ingsoc,” or English Socialism, but that term was devoid of any real meaning.
It was also Orwell who penned that vital principle of all totalitarianisms: “He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past.” So Eastasia, which had recently been an ally of Oceania, not only ceased in one day being that ally, but became the enemy of Oceania...and the politically correct history was rewritten so that Eastasia had always been the enemy of Oceania. The Winter War shows this in practice.
The whole period of the Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact was meticulously rewritten after the German invasion of Russia in June 1941. Almost at once, communist operatives around the world discovered that Stalin had been “playing for time” and had always known what Hitler had been planning. This is utterly wrong. As Solzhenitsyn famously noted, Stalin trusted only one man his whole life, and that man was Hitler. The Non-Aggression Pact was actually a firm alliance between Nazism and Communism, which pointedly excluded Fascism.
I cover all this exhaustively in my two-volume book, Sinisterism: Secular Religion of the Lie, which relies exclusively on books published while history was actually being made. During the Winter War, Fascist Black Shirts angrily stormed the Soviet embassy and threw rocks through its windows. Count Ciano, Mussolini’s son-in-law and Fascist foreign minister denounced the attack on Finland as the worst example of big-power aggression in modern history. Hundreds of Fascist pilots volunteered to fight for Finland, and Italy supplied its most modern warplanes to the Finns to fight the Soviets. Mussolini withdrew the Italian ambassador from Moscow, ending what had been a long romance between the Fascists and Bolsheviks (largely aimed against the Nazis), and Il Duce wrote an angry letter to Hitler regarding the Soviet attack on Finland, which Hitler did not even deign to reply to for months.
What was the Nazi reaction to the Soviet invasion of Finland? Most historians simply note that Finland was part of the Soviet sphere of influence in the nonaggression agreement, so Germany could not openly oppose Russia. In fact, Germany strongly supported the Soviet attack on Finland. German media simply reproduced as its own stories the Soviet reporting of the Winter War. The Nazis blocked the shipment of arms to the Finns, threatening Sweden (and also Denmark) with war if Sweden allowed transit of arms from the West, and blocking arms from every other nation that tried to help the Finns.
The Nazis provided shelter for fleeing Soviet diplomats in the German embassy. When the Red Army was bogged down in hopeless fighting along the Mannerheim Line, the Nazis provided Stalin not only with the plans for that line (which had been built earlier with German help), but also provided military advisors who showed the Soviets how to break through the Mannerheim Line. Not only that, but the German Army helped in the complete reorganization of the Red Army, which included (1) complete dissolution of the military commissars, (2) reintroduction of ranks in the army and navy, (3) strict insistence upon the salute and other features of military discipline, and (4) elite formations.

This tight alliance of Communists and Nazis against the rest of the world extended throughout Scandinavia. The only nation that recognized the Soviet occupation of the Baltic States was Nazi Germany, and the only nation that recognized the Nazi occupation of Demark and Norway was Communist Russia. The Red Navy broke through with icebreakers a path for German merchant raiders to operate against British shipping in the Pacific. The German Navy put specific major naval vessels at the disposal of the Kremlin.
As in so many other areas leading right up to the day that Operation Barbarossa began, the Communists and Nazis – the “Communazis,” as patriotic Americans rightly described them – worked in concert against liberty and the Judeo-Christian values of the West. Hitler and Stalin fell out, as leaders of vile gangs so often do, because each in his dark soul believed only in power itself. That is the hidden history of the Winter War.

Enough with The Ferguson Pandering

Enough with The Ferguson Pandering
By Lloyd Marcus
In all the media coverage of the riots in Ferguson, an annoying false premise has been allowed to stand as though it were an
unquestionable truth. Talking heads on the left and right are saying while rioting is not the way, there is a need for change in America. What the heck change are they talking about?
By embracing the “need for change” premise promoted by Al Sharpton and company, the media is complicit in spreading the lie that America is racist and blacks are mistreated. For crying out loud, folks, look around. Blacks are thriving in every area of the American experience. The real need for change is for blacks to stop voting for Democrats in exchange for just-enough-to-get-by handouts and endless failed big government spending programs that make problems worse; the death of the black family. That is what desperately needs to change in America.
I take offense at these snooty, arrogant TV talking heads declaring my country and my fellow Americans guilty of something they are not. The talking heads are simply pandering to ignorance and beating up on my country and I do not like it. These elites are also poking a finger in the eye of the majority of Americans of all races who play by the rules to achieve their American dreams -- working, playing, and crying together when necessary.
We have also heard from the media and Obama that police must deal with blacks differently. Obama said a better job must be done in training law enforcement “to be sensitive to the concerns of minority communities”. Hogwash! Why isn't standard police training sufficient for dealing with all criminals? Should extra tolerance be allowed by police when dealing with minorities? Absolutely not. The call for police special training is nothing more than liberal pandering.
I also fought to control my gag reflex every time I heard a media elite praise the Ferguson police for their great restraint during the looting and destruction of property and lives after the grand jury decision and earlier riots back in August. Such comments feed the notion that blacks have a right to be angry and behave badly because America is racist.
So as Americans watched footage of police cars burning, thugs gleefully running with stolen goodies and mayhem in the streets of Ferguson, we were told that while violence is not the way, we must understand their rage. Every opportunist thug wreaking havoc in Ferguson should be arrested. Period!
Despite all the media accusations of an overmilitarized Ferguson police department and despite Ferguson police walking on eggshells in an attempt not to further anger protesters and appease the MSM, black and white businesses were destroyed; apparently deemed acceptable collateral damage.
Even some conservatives contributed to the destructive pandering by subscribing to the narrative that special concessions must be made for blacks because they are still suffering the negative effects of slavery. This is absurd.
American blacks are suffering the negative effects of decades of Liberalism; liberals controlling our schools, controlling Hollywood and controlling the news media. Liberals have infected the hearts and minds of blacks, conditioning them to believe blacks are suppressed in America because of racism, while ignoring all facts, in plain sight, which prove otherwise.
If white America's agenda is to suppress blacks, what backroom deal was struck to allow Oprah, Obama, Beyonce, Dr Ben Carson, and others to break through the Great White American Glass Ceiling? Is there an annual restriction on the number of blacks permitted to achieve success in America?
Interviewed on TV, a young black male said the grand jury decision proves that America is systematically racist. I thought, there you have it. Al Sharpton and company have won. From the first reports of the shooting, Sharpton and the Democrats' purpose was to exploit Brown's death to further their narrative that America is racist and cops murder blacks with impunity.
Insidiously, Sharpton and company successfully turned Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown's deaths into evidence of America's injustice in the minds of many; solely for the purpose of creating fear and hate against white America. Their messaging is vote for Democrats and we will keep the handouts coming, redistribute whitey's wealth, and keep whitey off your back.
America is the greatest land of opportunity on the planet for all who choose to go for it. And yet, Sharpton and company are relentless in their efforts to hide this truth from black Americans, the very people they claim to champion. Why? The answer is the Left's agenda is to transform America into a socialist nation. They need government-dependent blacks voting for Democrats to make it happen. This is why Democrats, liberals, and the MSM are celebrating Obama, in essence, granting amnesty to over 5 million illegals, despite them taking jobs from blacks; further exacerbating black unemployment. By embracing Obama's lawless amnesty decree, the Democrats are throwing black Americans under the bus.
Watching the Ferguson riots on TV was deja vu all over again. For decades, Democrats have been feeding blacks the same old excrement and we are witnessing the same results; angry frustrated blacks -- a majority of black kids in fatherless households, high school dropouts, high unemployment, high black on black crime, high incarcerations, high abortion rates, and so on.
Bottom line, far too many blacks are mentally stuck, infected with victim mindsets which prevent them from pursuing their American dreams.
Shepard Smith on Fox News said the protests in Ferguson bring up the larger issue that large numbers of people (blacks) across America do not feel that the system is working for them. The unfortunate mindset of such blacks is the result of brainwashing by liberals and Democrats; pure and simple. As I stated, all of black America's real issues stem from decades of them willfully living on the Democrat's liberal plantation.
The American system works great! Only in America could a barefoot cotton-picking little black kid in the 1940s dare to have a dream; grow up to become one of the most powerful black men in the world, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Without Affirmative Action, Justice Thomas achieved success the old-fashioned way. He earned it via education, hard work, and the right choices.
America is great because America is good. May God continue to bless America.

Racial quotas equal racism then and now

First Jews, now Asians

One of the uglier chapters in the history of academe is the way many of our top universities, led by Harvard, adopted de facto quotas on Jews after World War I because of concerns their rising numbers of Jewish would “ruin” their schools.
Today a group called Students for Fair Admissions is suing Harvard, arguing that the folks up in Cambridge are at it again. But this time, they say, the target isn’t Jews but Asians, who are losing out from admissions policies based on race.
Students for Fair Admissions is also suing the University of North Carolina — now in the midst of another scandal involving academic fraud for the benefit of athletes — as well as Harvard. But we’ll concentrate on Harvard here.
The applicant it cites is a first-generation Asian-American who ranked No. 1 in a high-school class of 460, attended a high school ranked in the top 5 percent of US high schools, had perfect 800 scores for his SAT II history and math, was an AP Scholar, National Scholar and the like and captained his varsity tennis team — in addition to other volunteer and extracurricular activities that included helping Chinese students learn English. But he was rejected.
The legal charge is straightforward: Harvard is intentionally discriminating on the basis of race in clear violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
The argument is that, in pursuit of “diversity,” Harvard admits less academically qualified students from some racial and ethnic categories at the expense of more qualified applicants from other racial and ethnic groups.
It helps to remember that when affirmative-action programs were advanced, the nation and the wrongs being addressed were very different.
Much of the civil-rights focus of the 1950s and 1960s was to open up institutions that had been arbitrarily and unfairly closed to African-Americans. And the categories involved were basically black and white.
Today we live in a much different America. Jim Crow has long been outlawed, and even the definition of diversity has changed with the growth of, for example, America’s Latino and Asian communities.
The old racial categories will be even more difficult to defend as intermarriage further erodes what were once clear divisions.
So we’re with Clarence Thomas here. As the Supreme Court justice has written, “the lesson of history” is clear: “Racial discrimination is never benign.”
A lesson, unfortunately, that still hasn’t taken up at Harvard.

Free speech: Not when Communists and liberals are in control

Vietnam detains blogger for 'bad' content

HANOI (Reuters) - Vietnamese police have detained a blogger for posting "bad content" about the state, the latest move in a crackdown on dissent that has been condemned by rights groups and Western governments.
Hong Le Tho, 65, was detained for "posting online articles with bad content and false information that discredit and create distrust among people about state agencies, social agencies and citizens," the Ministry of Public Security said on Saturday on its website.
The case follows a sharp increase in arrests and prison terms for government critics in the past few years that has alarmed the United States, a former enemy that is struggling to build a case for deeper trade ties with a country steadfast in its intolerance of dissent.
The detention of Tho, better known as blogger "Nguoi Lot Gach", came a month after Vietnam released jailed blogger Nguyen Van Hai, who staged a hunger strike to protest treatment of political prisoners.
It was unclear what Tho posted, as his blog requires an invitation in order to access it.
The popularity of political blogs has grown with increasing internet usage and simmering discontent over the Communist government's handling of a stale economy and rampant graft.
The number of web users has soared to a third of Vietnam's estimated 90 million people, and the Internet is one of only a few channels for dissent in a country where protests are rare and the media is tightly controlled by the state.
The United States has urged improvements in Vietnam's human rights record.
In an address to Congress in June, the U.S. State Department's envoy for democracy, Daniel Baer, described Vietnam's crack- down on bloggers as part of "a years-long trend of deterioration".

Who the left thinks important and as to be expected liars are well represented.

Posted By Kathy Shaidle On November 29, 2014

The New Republic magazine celebrates its 100th anniversary with a special section called “100 Years, 100 Thinkers.”
Unfortunately, the categories into which these “minds who’ve defined our century” are helpfully slotted are almost parodically First World, elite-uptown-liberal:
“Architecture.” “Environmentalism.” “Songwriting.” “Diplomacy.”
And of course, “American Civil Rights.” (Zzzzzzzz….)
Unless you count “Medicine,” no hard sciences were deemed worthy of consideration.
An alien browsing this section would be forgiven for assuming that man never set foot on the moon.
But who cares when someone named Alice Waters “made (local) lettuce sexy!”
(And besides, The New Republic assures us that “Martians need only watch one of [Richard Pryor's] concert films to best understand the human species in the shortest amount of time.”)
These “100 Thinkers” include an unsurprising number of charlatans whose sinister influence continues to toxify the body politic (Al Gore) and even kill people (Rachel Carson.)
Naturally, there’s a “Sex” section, and Alfred Kinsey comes out on top (as it were.)
New Republic staff writer tells us that:
After studying biology at Harvard and establishing himself as an expert on Gall wasps, Alfred Kinsey turned his attention to the science of sex. He was one of the first scholars to systematically study human sexuality, interviewing thousands of people for his best-selling books, Sexual Behavior in the Human Male and—even more controversially—Sexual Behavior in the Human Female. His “Kinsey scale”—which places sexual response on a spectrum from exclusively heterosexual to exclusively homosexual—introduced the modern idea that sexual orientation is not a simple dichotomy.
No room in that little blurb for any party-pooping, after-market facts:
Kinsey’s socially-distorting contention that “10% of the population is homosexual” — a figure “adopted for political reasons” – was based on a survey sample heavily weighted by ex-cons and street hustlers.
He “sometimes interviewed sex criminals and failed to report their behavior to the police, risking public safety for the sake of scientific data.”
He claimed that “‘parasitical mother-love’ made men gay.”
Admirers like to discredit latter-day critics of Kinsey as right-wing nuts, so here’s The (far-left) Guardian:
In fact, Kinsey wasn’t running a science project but a cult, with himself as its L Ron Hubbard. He wasn’t a happy Hubbard. Tormented by sexual guilt, he routinely inserted a toothbrush (bristle-end) deep into his urethra and scrubbed vigorously to excruciating climax. His genitals were an area of never-ending fascination and mutilation. On one occasion he performed a self-circumcision in the bathtub, without anaesthetic.
On another, as Jones records, “he tied a strong, tight knot around his scrotum with one end of the rope dangling from the pipe overhead. The other end he wrapped around his hand. Then, he climbed up on a chair, and jumped off, suspending himself in mid-air.” He survived this unusual bungee jump, thanks to the wonderful elasticity of the human testicle. (…)
Kinsey was probably homosexual and possibly a pederast. For him there was only one sexual abnormality: abstinence. (…)
A eugenicist, he advocated mass sterilisation of the “unfit”. Fellow scientists have queried and discredited his methods. Despite his manic “orgasm counting” Kinsey was statistically illiterate and skewed his results outrageously.
Apparently, The New Republic was too busy writing fawning blurbs for such world-historical giants as Julia Child and Coco Chanel to look up all this readily available information.

Exposing how some skew the news to fit the narrative. These are the Left's shock troops.

Why CNN wants you to believe the Ferguson protests were ‘peaceful’

Why CNN wants you to believe the Ferguson protests were ‘peaceful’

Here’s a quiz for you folks in the media: What happens if you’re out doing “man on the street” interviews but none of the men on the street fit your “narrative”?
If you’re CNN, you stop interviewing them.
It has been remarkable to watch the last few days as America’s self-styled “most trusted news network” has sent out teams of reporters to various areas of Ferguson, Mo., ostensibly to cover the protests there. While their cameramen are watching cars on fire and stores being looted, the reporters ramble on about how “most people here” are “peaceful protesters.”

Where are these peaceful protesters? The reporters can’t seem to find any. Instead, they turn to outside experts and some carefully vetted religious leaders to talk about “the real message” of the protests.

On Tuesday night, CNN correspondent Jason Carroll was reporting, “Most of the protesting we saw in front of the Ferguson Police Department tonight was peaceful.” Then as he started trying to explain the fires burning behind him, he was approached by three of the protesters, who proceeded to get in his face and yell at him because he was promoting a “certain narrative” — the police narrative. “You don’t understand!” one screamed.
Anchor Don Lemon quickly went elsewhere, saying he was worried about Carroll’s safety. When Lemon returned to Carroll later in the broadcast and asked him what the men were saying to him, Carroll refused to say. The reporter was stonewalling because, he explained, these men didn’t “represent” the peaceful protesters who were really the story.
CNN’s “narrative” was laid out early on Monday evening as correspondent Van Jones (formerly of the Obama administration) warned the audience not to pay attention to “a few knuckleheads” who later became a “bunch of knuckleheads” who “started a bunch of nonsense.”
Modal Trigger

Knuckleheads? Nonsense? When did knucklehead become a synonym for arsonist? When did taking a baseball bat to store windows become “a bunch of nonsense?” Talk about defining deviancy down.
On Tuesday night, Lemon even asked Jones about the difficulty they were having in finding peaceful protesters to interview, and Jones replied that “a lot of these young people are on the knife’s edge between violence and nonviolence.” What does that even mean?

Lemon did not ask. Instead, he returned to Marc Lamont Hill, who explained that the problem is not the protesters but the police who have been “disingenuous” by closing off a road to protesters after they heard shots being fired.
Again, he notes that the protesters were very peaceful — and would have remained so if it weren’t for those police officers making people so angry by stifling their voices.
This is a news organization that has lost all sense of its role.
There was even a debate among these knuckleheads — sorry, correspondents — over whether they should have aired video of Michael Brown’s stepfather standing on top of a car yelling, “Burn this bitch down,” right after the verdict was released.

When the Brown family called for peaceful protest, that was reported, but this outburst may not have been newsworthy, according to some of the CNN experts.
Come on. Enough is enough. These were not peaceful protests from the beginning.

Civil disobedience does not happen at night. No matter when the grand jury decision was announced, people who are engaged in peaceful protest take out their signs and march down the street in broad daylight.

Peaceful protesters don’t wear creepy anarchist masks or even bandannas to cover their faces. They are protesting with a clear conscience and are happy to have anyone know their identity.
Peaceful protesters do not dress like they are about to knock over a convenience store because they are not about to knock over a convenience store.
From day one, CNN has twisted the Ferguson story. The network decided early on that an injustice had been done, contrary facts aside. When the grand jury decided not to indict, CNN was primed for outrage, because there was no way officer Darren Wilson could have acted appropriately.
The network helped stir up a nation to the point of violence. Yet, since the protesters must always be on the side of angels, CNN lies about the destruction that follows.
It’s rare you see the liberal media’s dishonesty in such stark terms, but CNN can’t control the pictures. If you wanted to know what was really happening this week, all you had to do was press the mute button.

IRS accused of sharing 2,500 private taxpayer documents with White House

The Internal Revenue Service may have given thousands of confidential filings from private taxpayers to the White House to review, a lawsuit against the Treasury Department just revealed.
The suit, filed against Treasury’s inspector general by Cause of Action, a legal advocacy outfit, reveals a steady stream of communication went on between the White House and the IRS — a potentially “improper” stream, the group alleged, The Daily Caller reported.
“[T]he Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration informed Cause of Action that there exist nearly 2,500 potentially confidential documents relating to investigations of improper disclosures of confidential taxpayer information by the IRS to the White House,” Cause of Action told The Daily Caller.
The Justice Department has requested more time to review the documents before making them public, Newsmax said.
Cause of Action, meanwhile, is shocked.

“This disclosure, coming only after [we] sued TOGTA over its refusal to acknowledge whether such investigations took place, and after the court ordered TIGTA to reveal whether or not documents existed, signals that the White House may have made significant efforts to obtain taxpayers’ personal information,” Cause of Action wrote in a statement to the Examiner.
Cause of Action has accused the IRS and the White House of harassing taxpayers.

Perhaps you recall that this was the second item in the impeachment charges against Richard Nixon. But, he never did it.
