Hillary Clinton boasts a resounding lead over Donald Trump with registered African-American voters nationwide, according to a new poll.
Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, leads Trump 91 percent to 1 percent in that demographic in the NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey released Thursday.
Young voters additionally prefer Clinton to Trump, with 46 percent picking her and just 34 percent who select the billionaire instead.
Trump holds the cards with white voters, however, netting 45 percent to the Democratic presidential nominee's 40 percent.
Seniors also gravitate more Trump’s direction, with 46 percent preferring him to Clinton's 43 percent
Trump additionally scores an advantage with independents, 36 percent of whom choose him over Clinton's 32 percent.
Pollsters found both candidates are running nearly equal among males, with Clinton at 43 percent to Trump’s 42 percent.
NBC News/The Wall Street Journal conducted its latest sampling of 800 registered voters nationwide via cell and landline telephone interviews from July 31-Aug. 3.
The poll’s full sample has a 3.5 margin of error. The margin of error is likely larger for subgroups, such as African-Americans, within the poll.
Clinton leads Trump by roughly 6 points nationwide in the latest edition of the RealClearPolitics average of polls.
Trump has repeatedly said he can compete with Clinton for African-American, Hispanic and other minority voters.
