The NY Times caught in another lie. Truth to these people is like salt to a slug.

The New York Times tweeted photos showing fewer New England Patriots visiting Republican President Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday than in 2015 when Barack Obama was president. Then the Patriots called out the Times for showing photos that "lack context." (Image source: YouTube screen cap)

Amid the ballyhoo over some New England Patriots players skipping the traditional White House visit to celebrate their latest Super Bowl victory because of issues with Republican President Donald Trump, the New York Times decided to take it a step further.
The Times tweeted a pair of photos, one showing the Patriots gathered at the White House in 2015 when Barack Obama was president — and the other showing the Patriots at Trump’s White House on Wednesday.

None other than the Patriots organization itself called out the Times for showing photos that “lack context.”
“Facts: In 2015, over 40 football staff were on the stairs,” the Patriots tweeted. “In 2017, they were seated on the South Lawn.”
Oops.
The Patriots had already tweeted a more representative photo of the entire entourage posing with Trump.
Presumably to further help out the Times, the Patriots posted their own version of “comparable photos.”
“The last time the #Patriots won two Super Bowls in three years, 36 players visited the White House,” the team added in the tweet. “Today, we had 34.”
The Times posted an update on Twitter in light of the Patriots’ correction:
